St Paul's, with its world-famous dome, is an iconic feature of the London skyline. Step inside and you can enjoy the cathedral's awe-inspiring interior, and uncover fascinating stories about its history. Climb up the dome to the Whispering Gallery and try out its unique acoustics; a whisper on one side can be heard clearly 100 feet away. Climb 271 more steps and reach the Golden Gallery at the very top of the dome where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views across London. Make your way underground and explore the Cathedral’s burial place. In the crypt lies some of the nation’s heroes including the Cathedral’s architect Sir Christopher Wren as well as the magnificent tombs of Admiral Lord Nelson and the Duke of Wellington.

Opening times: 

Monday – Saturday from 8.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. (last admission at 4 p.m.)
Once inside St Paul’s the galleries are accessible between 9.30 a.m. – 4.15 p.m. 
Please note: On Sundays the cathedral is open for worship only and there is no sightseeing. 
The cathedral can sometimes be closed to sightseeing due to special services and events and sometimes at short notice. Please find here more information.
